Other Policies

REFUND POLICY
Refunds – Once we approve your refund, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within 30 days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
Return of equipment – You will be responsible for the return of your equipment and any associated delivery/shipping charges. Costs associated with returns are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of returning items will be deducted from your refund.

PAYING VIA E-CHECK (ACH)
If you pay us via an E-Check (ACH) transfer using our online payment portal, but have previously been notified that we will no longer accept checks as payment on your account, your service will not be reconnected until your E-Check (ACH) transfer has cleared our bank, which may take up to seven days.
 
To avoid any delay in your service being reconnected, you may come into our office and pay with cash, money order, or credit/debit card.  If you have any questions, please contact us.
 
ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS
All electronic payments should be made through our official website (arriva.com). Arriva is not responsible for any payments made through independent third party processors, or any fees associated with using those services (late fee, reconnect fee, equipment fee, processing fee, etc.).
 
AUTO PAY ENROLLMENT
Autopay enrollment for the current billing cycle is due by the 5th of the month for the current month’s payment to process via autopay. Enrollment after the 5th of the month does not guarantee the customer’s current months payment will be processed, and the customer will be responsible for that payment and any related fees incurred as a result of missed payment. Customers should ensure that the current month’s payment is received prior to the due date if manual payment is required (ex.: Customer enrolls in auto pay January 1; January payment will be processed via autopay.).

Notification of Changes to the Privacy Policy

The arriva.com Privacy Policy may be updated to increase our users‚ privacy protection or to improve our information practices. If there are changes made in the future, the changes will not affect information already collected. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be available on this page for users to review.

Right of Way Easement

Applicants for services from Arriva Connect “Arriva”, grant Arriva a perpetual right-of-way and easement to their property. This consent gives Arriva and any Arriva contractors, affiliates, or assigns the right to enter the property owned or leased by the applicant, and the right to construct, install, maintain, repair, improve, remove, replace, inspect, or test telecommunications equipment  necessary in providing services from Arriva (equipment consists of, but is not limited to, underground/aerial fiber optics, cables, splice boxes, conduits, wires, surface testing terminals, manholes, markers, and other equipment). This consent includes required access to and from property.

Hot Spot/Free Public Wi-Fi Zones 

The Service is a free public service provided by Arriva. Your access to the Service is completely at the discretion of Arriva, and your access to the Service may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of this Agreement, actions that may lead to liability for Arriva, disruption of access to other users or networks, or violation of applicable laws or regulations. Arriva may revise the TOS at any time. You must accept this Agreement each time you use the Service and it is your responsibility to review it for any changes each time. This is an open wireless network. No network communication is 100% secure.

Please remember:   NO network communication should be considered private or protected. All communication over the Arriva network is subject to monitoring. Arriva reserves the right to reduce throughput or access as needed.

Acceptable Use of the Service

Your use of the Service and any activities conducted online through the Service shall not violate any applicable law or regulation or the rights of Arriva, or any third party. Arriva cannot accept any responsibility for any injury or loss that results from inaccurate, unsuitable, offensive, or illegal Internet communications.

Disclaimer

You acknowledge (i) that the Service may not be uninterrupted or error-free; (ii) that viruses or other harmful applications may be available through the Service; (iii) that Arriva does not guarantee the security of the Service and that unauthorized third parties may access your computer or files or otherwise monitor your connection.

THE USE OF THE SERVICE FOR THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES IS PROHIBITED:

Spamming and Invasion of Privacy of Others, Violating Intellectual Property Law, Transmitting Obscene or Indecent Speech or Materials, Transmitting Defamatory or Abusive Language, Hacking or Distribution of Internet Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horses, or Other Destructive Activities.
